The Foundation Relations Manager/Grant Writer works with the Chairman and Trustees to identify program needs, identify foundations and other funders (i.e. federal, state, local, etc.) whose funding priorities are consistent with Walk For The Beat’s needs. In addition, the Grant Writer will project manage all grant request/proposal submissions.
The Director of Fundraising is a dynamic and creative fundraiser responsible for securing new sponsors and income, executing fundraising programs and events, developing relationshipand expanding Walk For The Beat’s business in the community. This position reports to the Executive Director and works closely with all levels of the Walk For The Beat Team. The Director of Fundraising does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Volunteering in a cause that you believe in can be very rewarding. Walk For The Beat relies of volunteers to accomplish our mission and make sure that the absolute highest percentage of dollars available goes to the cause. Attacking Heart Disease is an all hands on deck project. Volunteers are asked to assist in coordinating fundraising efforts and are assigned various tasks by members of the Walk For The Beat staff.
